Heil Genesis or stock mic, with no outboard processing.
I use a K8RA(sk) paddle, and a homebrew paddle pictured below.
 
Antennas:
Low bands: verticals, home brew, 65' top loaded, and/or base tuned, bandswitched remotely. Cushcraft R7. High bands: 20m long dipole with tuned feeder (20m, 12m) made of LadderSnap open wire line. 6m: homebrew 4 element quad fed with 75 Ohm hardline. 2m and 70cm:  11 element and 15 element single yagis.
 
K1DNR Mobile Setup:I am using a screwdriver type mobile antenna with a 72" (1.8m) stainless steel whip. I also have a 12' telescopic whip for stationary use. I use an FT-857D barefoot, and CW paddles strapped to the ashtray. I enjoy operating mobile with my FT857D.
 
I am a musician. I studied with jazz legend Jackie McLean from the time i was 17. I taught and played all over the world for many years.  Today i run my own computer consulting business and play the lead alto chair with Michael Palin and the Other Orchestra every Tuesday in Hartford,  CT. at Blackeyed Sallys on Asylum Ave downtown.
