First licensed as KN2MIY in 1958. Dropped the 'N' a year later. Received W8ISC as a 're-issued' call in 1968. Current vanity call granted in October 2006. Upgrade to Extra Class license accomplished April 14, 2007. Enjoy working on electronic projects and collect and repair antique radios. Frequent operation of vintage gear gives great pleasure. Enjoying a new 'Roadtrek' camper van since recent retirement and operate mobile/portable from there with an ICOM IC-706 MK2 G as well as from a base station with an IC 756 Pro II. Currently using G5RV antenna for 160-10 Meters. Antennas also include three element 17 meter and three element six meter yagies. The 17 meter beam becomes a tribander with a little help from the tuner. Enjoy CW operations much of the time and can be heard on most any band when the whim hits me!
