QSL Card Guidelines for

K2G Convoy Route Station

Please following the instructions below for QSL cards  ONLY from K2G:

(For the Award Certificate instructions use the link at the top of the page)

1)     You must include a SASE - (Self Addressed STAMPED Envelope) - with your request.  If a SASE is NOT included, your QSL request WILL NOT be processed by K2G - one of the Convoy On-The-Air Route Stations in Villa Rica/ Carrollton, GA.

2)    DX stations must include a SAE - (Self Addressed Envelope) - along with $2 US  to cover the cost of foreign postage.  NO IRC's will be accepted and a QSL bureau will NOT be used.

3)    K2G is one of the Convoy On-The-Air Route Stations, however we are NOT a forwarding service or QSL bureau, and therefore will NOT forward any QSL cards that are addressed to any other station. K2G will only process requests that are addressed to K2G.

Eqsl logs will be uploaded after convoy ends.

West Georgia Amateur Radio Society- WGARS- was created in the late 1970s and has membership from all over the West Georgia area (Carroll, Haralson, Douglas, Heard, and Paulding counties).  The club operates a weekly Monday night net at 8:00pm on the 146.640 repeater (negative offset with 131.8 tone) managed by Tim Jones.  WGARS participates in the annual ARRL Field Day event, conducts fox hunts, and supports the local ARES organization. The club meets monthly at the Casa Sol Restaurant in Villa Rica on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM.

USCG AUXILIARY 73rd Anniversary Station



Oct 16th thru Oct 19th 2014.

The 75th Anniversary Stations will be operating during the week all modes all bands.


Members of the USCG Auxiliary 1st Southern District will be operating from USCG Station Jones Beach. (formerly Short Beach) on Oct 20th from 1100Z - 2000Z
