Originally licensed as a novice in the mid 70's as KA2AXF I let my ticket expire in the mid 80's but was again bitten by the ham radio bug. Took the general class license exam in January of 2004 was licensed as WA2ART, and passed my extra exam earlier in 2010 and am now licensed as K2JF.
My shack includes the Icom 756 Pro III and an Astron Power Supply. Up on the roof of my 6 floor NYC apartment building I used to have a DX EE 10 - 40 meters and an End Fedz for 17 meters (well I did until the building requested I remove it for several months of repair work). Gonna get back up there and put some end fed wire just to have some fun again. In the meantime I get by with an end fed 1-40 wire in our patio courtyard that happens to be surrounded by BIG apartment buldings. I have membership in ARRL, and FISTS.
