I am the electronics program manager with NOAA's National Weather Service in the western part of the great united states. I have been a technician and have worked with the federal government, including the u.s. coast guard most of my life. I now oversee all electronic aspects of the 8 Western states (Nexrad, ASOS. AWIPS, NWR)  My passion in amateur radio is public service, D-Star and APRS.  With the help of the UVHFS we have installed the KF6RAL D-Star repeater system.  thank you for reading my biography and have a great day.
