I have been a ham since 1955 when, at the age of 13, I received my novice license KN2QMF. I upgraded to General class in about 6 months and my call became K2QMF. I upgraded to Extra class when incentive licensing started. I needed all the CW privilages as I operate 99% CW.

I retired in 2002 and relocated to Baiting Hollow, Long Island, NY. I have about an acre of land here and I'm planning to grow plenty of antennas. The rig consists of a Yeasu FTdx-5000, and an Acom 2000A amplifier. I have two towers with a 2 element 40 meter yagi at 85 feet, 4 element 20 at 75 feet, Inverted "Vee" for 80 meters at 70 feet, Inverted "L" for 160 at 70 feet. A TH5 5 element tribander for 10 and 15 at 60 feet.

I am loving every minute of retirement and spend much time on the bands just having fun.
