My Radio control Low wing UGLY Stick, Built in 1973 with fully symmetrical wing, with air brakes.

OS 60 FSR engine. 5 chanel. It can Hang on the Prop weight at about 7 1/2 lb's.

Mast over tower 9'. Total 88' base with winch...and 3 sets of guy wires.


  Put up in 1987. Testing with 100 lb cement block. Antenna at  about 95 foot.

Has held all antenna's, New quad weight about 46 pounds,


In 1985 I mounted a 20m 4 element in the top of a pine at 85'. One month later a 15m 4 element, 

above the 20 m 4 element. I was 50 yr's old then. I dont climb trees at 80 anymore.

Today the tower comes down to the ground where I can service antenna's

Red Tail Hawk in Quad looking for lunch. Keeps coming back for 20 plus years plus + ^^ ^^ Chicks.
