First licensed in 1967 as WN3HKF/WA3HKF. Call changed to ND3C in the 90's when I upgraded to extra class. My current call K3AJ is a play on my two daughters' first names (Alice and Jane).

My present equipment line-up consists of an Elecraft K3 and an Acom 1000 amplifier (both acquired after the picture was taken).

Antennas are a 3-element SteppIR at 50 ft. for 20M-10M, a 68 ft.vertical for 80M which I also use base loaded on 160M (with 48 radials - 16 of them extended to 130 ft. for 160M), a 40M 4-square vertical array and inverted V's for 80M, 40M, and 30M. On 6M I have a 5-element M2 yagi above the SteppIR. Low band RX antennas are a K9AY loop and a pair of 240 ft. beverages.

My operating interests include contesting and chasing DX, supplemented with six-meter activity during the Es season and some CW rag chewing.

I am a member of the PVRC contest club.

Personal info: Born March 10, 1952. Have a BS in Civil Engineering and an MBA. Retired from Baltimore Gas & Electric in July 2011.K3AJ in 2013K3AJ in 2013WN3HKF in 1967 K3AJ Antenna Farm 2013
