How did White Post get its name ? Below stands a white post in the middle of the only intersection in White Post. This is the very post used as a marker by George Washington and his brother while surveying the local area. If you ever find yourself driving on main street in White Post, it would be wise to stay alert,,,hi,,,hi It has been preserved and maintained by the local residents.
