Below is a photo of my little green buddy who lives in my swiming pool/pond. He is keeping an eye out for the sporadic E on 10 meters and maybe some signals from across the pond

This Barred Owl along with two others have been hanging around the back yard for the last few weeks. They don't seem to mind people. I was able to get very close for some decent shots with my old Nikon 5700 coolpix camera.

The last couple of years I have been learning how to make Violins and Ukuleles. Here are photo's of my #1and #2 Violins. Also a photo of the scroll on the 1st Violin. I make my Violins by hand using traditional methods and tools. The 2nd Violin is "in the white" which means it has not been varnished. It takes 150-200 hours to make a Violin.

Tranceiver Icom 761 and I just added a Flexradio 1500 QRP SDR to the shack.

The mic I'm using at the moment is a Heil headset w/HC-5 element.

Amplifier: I have 2 Sunair LPA-9600 solid state 1kw continuous duty amplifiers.

The Sunair LPA-9600 is a Mil-spec HF Amplifier and is still being manufactured. This one was probably used by the Coast Guard. It is conservatively rated at 1kw continuous duty.

Antenna 3 Element 10 meter Mono-band Yagi at about 35 Feet.
