Hey there!

Thanks for stopping by. My HF rigs are: Kenwood TS-590 DSP for mostly JT9/JT65, CW and SSB. Running 100 watts to: 160m 1/2 wave dipole at 100 feet or a 160m Inv Vee at 80 feet. I run an Ameritron AL-811H amp for the tough ones! I use a Rig Blaster Pro for Digital comms.

I use a Vibroplex 100th anniversary bug. My 30 Meter Digital Group # is 5996, My SKCC# is 3897. I also belong to QCWA; my number is 32464. My TEN-TEN International # is 75465. I support and fully use LOTW and EQSL. If you work me, your LoTW and eQSL are immeadiately entered. " I DO NOT DIRECT QSL OR QSL VIA BUREAU " Sorry but budgets are budgets. eQSL me and you will receive one back usually within 1 day All shortwave listeners are welcome and greatly encouraged to eQSL me as well!!!

I operate only cw and digital modes, except for the Original 13 Colonies Contest the week of July 4th. I will be operating as one of the K2L stations for SC in the 13 Colonies Contest this year. I will be operating strictly CW, so be sure to look for me!! I enjoy JT65\JT9 the most but have been known to venture into the phone bands, usually to demonstrate this great hobby. I enjoy building my own antennas and experimenting with different designs.

I am 50 years old and have lived in Charleston all my life. First licensed in 1975 at age 12 as WD4BTC, then at age 15 upgraded to General as N4BCI. Upgraded to Advanced at 17. Kept that call until 2010 when I was issued K4BTC. Passed the Extra exam on 02/06/2010. I have been having a blast working grayline dx in the winter months on 160 meter cw. I also have been doing some DXing on 80 and 40 meters. I am also now enjoying the bottom of the bands and my dxing has increased with access to these extra freqs!

73's Ya'll!!!
