Polk county is the smallest county in North Carolina and the "foothills" of the mountains of western NC. We host the NC state barbecue (smoked meat) championship competition every year in June. Come see us.

I am a programmer and ex. electronic tech in the remittance processing world.

Station consists of a 1995 IC-736, Gap Challenger and 6 band Hex Beam on the roof.  Update: Just bit the bullet and bought a Yaesu FTDX5000 and Heil Gold Elite (July 2012). I hope my signal is easier to copy now.
