I QSL 100 percent for cards received. DX will be via BURO unless you request direct and include postage and SASE. (Or maybe I need your card and send to you direct!!)
Station consists of Kenwood equipment: TS-870S and TL-922. Backup rigs include TS-450, and TS-50 portable or mobile. For VHF and up, there is a Kenwood TS-790A, with TS-711A for backup. There are also assorted 2m and 6m FM mobiles.
Hope to meet you on the air - the real enjoyment of Ham Radio to me is meeting new people, and chatting with old friends! Although I do enjoy keeping the station up-to-date technically, and experimenting with antennas.
Other interests: I am widowed, and am President of the local chapter of Widowed Persons Organization, helping others who have trod that lonely path. Other activities include travel (favorite place to visit: Scotland) and restoring my 1965 Mustang convertible, while reengineering and modernizing its mechanical parts. Would love to chat with you about any of these. Or pick another subject. (I have some wonderful grandkids!!)
