Our home in Virginia Beach after an unusally heavy snow storm.

My family and I have lived in Virginia Beach since 1984, where we remained after I retired from the Navy. I was privileged to have had 24 years of military service, which included 5 years in the Army, duty in Vietnam as an advisor with Task Force 212, a tour as the Supply Officer of the USS Santa Barbara (AE-28), and many other jobs in a variety of operational and staff assignments, primarily in petroleum logistics. I am new to amateur radio but have had a long time interest in the hobby. I operate an Icom746 Pro usinga WindomHSQ at a height of 45 feet.

Thank you for the QSO and I hope to meet you again soon on the air!
