Yes, also operate from SOUTH CAROLINA. It's Windy Hill, South Carolina (part of North Myrtle Beach, and in Horry County). QSL 100%, direct SASE or via Buro (FISTS or ARRL) or LOTW. -I've been interested in ham radio since early childhood (was a member of ARRL around 1962), but didn't get licensed then, unfortunately. If you QSOd with me on CW, I appreciate your patience while I try to get better and faster. CW is my preferred mode of communications (FISTs # 9137). -In Raleigh, run an ICOM-756 to a 80 Meter zepp. At the beach (Windy Hill, SC), run an ICOM 746 with a "Dog-leg" Inverted V or 80/40M vertical, grounded in salt water. Some QSOs are conducted on the beach, which yields great skip. This is with a DX-70TH with an inverted-V or SD-20 on a fishing pole. For county hunters, this is HORRY County, SC. Am a member of the Medical Amateurs Radio Council (MARCO),and am active in ARES for both Wake County, NC and Horry County, SC. Also, teach Red Cross CPR/AED & First Aid classes to hams. Other calls: OH\K4RLC & ES1|K4RLC.

Professionally, I am a neuropsychologist, who diagnoses and treats brain damage. Am experimenting with EEG Biofeedback, which involves teaching patients to "tune" areas of their brain to a certain frequency band (beta and alpha) while suppressing other bands (theta and delta) to increase concentration, leading to greater neurocognitive processing. The frequencies are very low (0 to 25 Hz) and the power is minimal, so don't plan on hearing any on your radio (HI).

Married with two children, and am a North Carolina native.
