K4SUS , K4 Southern United States. First licensed in 1963. EX Calls: WA4NZV, DL4ZV, KC4SUS,1990, KC96SUS,(1996 Atlanta Olympic Games Station). AE1ZV, U.S. Army Mars Sta. Europe. Active on HF. Very active on 6 meters VHF. Many pics and info in the 6 meter book SIX METERS, A GUIDE TO THE MAGIC BAND by WB2AMU. I'm the originator of the term, THE MAGIC BAND, and can prove it if needed. Have 6m WAS #1260 and 6 m DXCC (well over 100+ wkd/conf. on 6m VHF). Station antenna is a homebrew 6 band 4 element QUAD. 4 ele. on 20-17-15-12m, 6 ele. on 10m. Also has a seperate, closer spaced, 15-12-10m reflector frame. 6 meter antenna is 8 ele. 6m QUAD inside the HF QUAD. Resonant dipoles for low bands.

Also operate portable and mobile from vehicles, Airboats, boats, swamp buggy, from the Florida Everglades and have operated Ham Radio from helos, other aircraft, and from many field/camp/IOTA island locations. Other activities are Bass fishing, exploring Florida Everglades, and N. Ga. Mtns. Member: ARRL and QCWA. Moved to N. Ga. Mtns.(EM74), for good in Aug. 2004. QSL OK. MUST RECEIVE SASE FROM  N.AMERICA STATIONS. DX via BURO. NO ECHOLINK or IRLP/VoIP QSO's, and NO E-MAIL QSL's, as these are NOT REAL HAM RADIO. 73 Tom K4SUS
