I was licensed in Dec 1984 as a Novice with a callsign of KB4HTO. In may of 1985 I got my general ticket and in Sept of 1985 got my Advance ticket with the call of KI4UI. The next year i upgraded to Extra. When the vanity callsign program started i got my present callsign K4UI. My equiptment consists of a Yaesu FT-950 and a dipole up at 50 feet for 10-80. On 6 meters I use a 3 element beam at 35 feet.  I am active mainly on 6 meters. I do work alot of 20, 30 and 40 meters. I live in Monroe County Kentucky about 7 miles N. of Tompkinsville. I am married to a real special lady whom is a ham to. She doesn't get on anymore. We also have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. I work in the stainless steel pipe industries. We produce stainless steel pipe in the 2 inch to 24 inch diameter. They range in 20 to 50 feet in lenght. I hope to hear you on 6 or else where. We do direct qsl and lotw. For a qsl all I ask is that a sase be included.

73's from Kentucky. Rick - K4UI
