QSL: PREFER LOTW AND DIRECT; NO QRZLOG, PERIODIC EQSL AS COURTESY

I go by Bill, William way too formal.

New to Amateur Radio in 2011; having a great time exploring the numerous bands and modes - never a dull moment.

I look forward to meeting many interesting people and introducing others to the hobby - focus in 2013 is 100+ entities QRP SSB.

Working conditions summary:

  • Primary Rig: Yaesu FT-950
  • Secondary Rig: Yaesu FT-450D
  • Portable/Ready-Set-Go Rig: Yaesu FT-900AT, Timewave DSP 9+
  • Antenna: 66ft. Longwire (stealth due to HOA restrictions) w/ external LDG AT-100 Pro Tuner
  • Audio: MD-100 Desk mic or Heil Proset 4 w/ foot switch, Yaesu SP-767 external speaker
  • Interests include mobile, portable, QRP and operating off-the grid - have a Buddipole too.
  • Enjoy chasing DX, contesting, special events and local ARES; beginning to explore digital modes

I am an active member of NFARL, current Membership Chairman and GOTA Station Captain for Field Day 2013 for the second time.

I use LOTW and attempt to process QSL cards for current month by the end of the following month. DX stations are a priority and I do provide self-addressed envelope and return postage!! Additionally, I update eQSL periodically as a courtesy.

Thank You in advance for your QSL's and patience as I tweak my "persona on the air".
