I have been licensed since 1963 and operated as: WN2HJG (1963), WB2HJG (1963-1968), WA5VUW (1968-1977) K5EK (1977), K3KA (1977-1996), K5EK (1996–present). I enjoy operating SSB, RTTY and CW with my station consisting of a K3  transceiver, a 3 element SteppIR antenna with 30/40 meter dipole kit, inverted vee on 80 meters and inverted L on 160 meters. In addition, I enjoy HF mobile operation, and am a member of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), National Capitol DX Association (NCDXA), Brunswick Shores Amateur Radio Club (BSARC), and the Carolina DX Association (CDXA).

In addition to amateur radio I enjoy traveling, outdoor and travel photography, and coin collecting. In August 2009 I moved from Virginia to North Carloina.

I will confirm QSOs via real QSO and LOTW, and I enjoy collecting QSL cards and appreciateyour paper QSL card also. I'm just old fashioned. I will respond to all QSLs received in a like manner, direct or bureau.

Thank you for your QSL.

73,

Ed
