I have always been interested in radios,but not enough to go to the trouble of getting a license.All that changed when I got the bright idea to send my wife to collage to learn electronics.I created a monster.One of her teachers showed her their station and told her she should get a license.As you can guess the old girl did.I took some razzing from my friends untill I got my license 2 years later.It became a game between the monster and I. When I got my first license she upgraded ,this continued to happen untill I finally caught up to her when she finally gave up after making advanced. Now I could concentrate on building up my station.I have a 166 ft. horizantal loop,a ft920 Yeasu,my amplifier is an alk500ntc-amp supply.Over the years I have gone through a lot of equipment,but we are both satisfied with the setup we have now.
