First licensed at age 15 in 1960. First rig was a Johnson Challenger (crystal controlled) and Hallicrafters S-107. Upgraded Rx to Hammarlund HQ-145 then TX to Hallicrafters HT-37.  Listed in the Novice Historical Society new website (tnx to Cliff AC6C for that great website)

http://www.novicehistory.org/

Retreaded after school and army and got into CW DX work and got my old call back.

Mostly CW work including DXCC Mixed Honor Roll (with only 6 left to work to have em all) with CW country total over 300 confirmed and only 4 more needed for CW Honor Roll.

Been back into boatanchors for about 8 years. Main receiver is Collins 75A-4. Transmitter is a Johnson Valiant or Ranger, depending which one is working at the time. Also have an RME 6900 and RME 4350A. See new additions to photo - Collins Speaker and Hallicarafters TO Keyer - given by friend from old times - Dick Baxter K5TF.

Current "normal" rig is, now, a Yaesu FT-2000. New AMP is a Yaesu Quadra.  Works great with the FT2000.

Antenna is a SteppIR 3 El with 40/30 at 60 feet with inverted Vee for 80 .

QSL preference is LOTW.
