Picture taken February 2012

QSL

  • I will QSL 100% to LoTW, typically as I conclude operating for the day
  • I upload to eQSL periodically
  • I will QSL domestic direct 100% with SASE, slower w/o SASE
  • I will QSL DX through ARRL buro
  • 3905 Century Club contacts please QSL through 3905 buros
  • If you recieved one of my new QSLs, the picture was taken by a dear friend, Aaron Osborne, in the Ozark National Forest near the Ozark Highlands Trail in NW Arkansas. The picture is a shot of Murray Falls while standing back from the main falls.

Recent Notes

  • Have been active in the 3905 Century Club 160m SSB Early Net. Look for me there as I have time.
  • Had a great time operating in the CQ WPX RTTY contest. My first time in a digi-mode contest. Finished with over 40,000 points.
  • Completed WAS Phone on January 21st, 2012
  • Added an Inverted "L" for 160 meters on 1/30/2012. Excited to finally have a working antenna on 160m. Made my first contact the same day! Been enjoying checking into the 3905 Century Club 160m SSB early net when I have time.
  • 2011 CQ WPX SSB - Placed 19th in for "Single Operator - All Band - High Power" for the 5 call area
  • 2011 ARRL Field Day - Team K5PO (WB0RUR, K5KVN & K5PO) placed 5th in the 2D category

Thanks for visiting my QRZ page!

Feel free to drop a note in the "Notes" area above. I've enabled it so anyone can post. I'm especially interested in any signal or audio reports, especially if you tried to reach me, but I was unable to copy you.

I'd like to ask everyone visiting this page to please take the time to sign up for and use LoTW. It is a great program that take very little time or effort to use and can really be a great help to hams in achieving contact goals!

I'd also like to recommend you check out K3UK's real-time LoTW sked page. A great way to see who is on the bands looking for LoTW contacts for WAS or DX. http://www.obriensweb.com/sked/index.php?page=lotw
