K5QBM is the club station for the Raytheon Employees Amateur Radio Club.

The club has a fully equipped ham shack in its own building out on our ball field, with twin towers and two operating postitions. In the plant, we also manage a fully appointed Emergency Operations Center with HF, VHF and UHF facilites.

Club facilities include:

* 2 meter FM repeater: 147.84/147.24 Mhz (used by RACES)

* Digipeater k5qbm-1 on 145.07 MHz

* APRS digipeater, k5qbm-2, on 144.39 MHz

* APRS h/t tracker, k5qbm-7

The club was formerly the E-Systems Amateur Radio Club, until the company merged with Raytheon in 1995. Previous trustees of K5QBM that have since retired include Jim Hester, K5HTK, Lionel Roach, KD5VO, and Stan Shutts, WB5FOQ.
