First licensed in 1958, DXing since early 1960's using near 100% CW. I have 342 entities confirmed mixed
and 338 CW (includes 11 deleted). Still need 9 ATNO's mainly because I've always run barefoot power to some
type of wire antenna. Also need 9 more CQ Zones for WAZ on 8 bands 10m thru 80m. Not a band/mode chaser
therefore don't feel a need for LoTW (doubt many DX need Texas). For what I still need I want a real QSL!
The 9 ATNO's needed: 3Y/B, A5, BS7, P5, SV/A, VK0/H, VP8/S, VU4, and ZS8M.
The 9 CQ Zones needed: 12m: 24  17m: 22  30m: 22  80m: 17,18,21,22,23 and 26.
Low Band CW stats 80m: 237/237  40m: 299/297  and on 6m: 54/20.
Current station includes a Ten-Tec Omni VII and Eagle, the latter used mainly for 6m and as a backup radio.
Both feed an 80m OCF dipole, with tuner used all bands 80m thru 6m.
My second passion is hockey and the DALLAS STARS. Below a collage of the XYL and myself at the game the
Stars clinched a 2014 playoff birth. I must report the Stars didn't make it past the first round. I'm ready for next season!
It's October and the 2014-15 season is now finally here!  Woooooohoooooo!  GO STARS !!!
