Single story apartment HF station

Radio 1 : Icom IC-718

Radio 2 : RCI-2950DX (Green display) 21 - 29.7 MHz (Did the 15M mod myself and completely realigned the whole radio) with PL tone encoder board for repeater access

Headset : Heil Proset IC (very comfortable)

Tuner : MFJ-901B 200W tuner

Antenna analyzer : MFJ-259B

Artificial Ground Tuner: MFJ-931, helps kill off remaining RFI and does improve signal output on lower bands

Antenna 1 : 80M OCF dipole. Sometimes local QRM is very bad that I'm not able to hear signals very good. Dipole is cut for 80M fed off center with a 4:1 balun and run all along the ceiling level accross whole apartment inside.

Antenna 2:Wire vertical.

Future project will be to setup a remote station in Texas with a 80M OCF dipole and be done with the electrical noise issue from the neighbors electronics and apartment restrictions.

Power Supplies : Astron RS-20A (20A) for the Icom, Pyramid PS-15KX (10A) for the RCI

Homemade Iambic key made from parts bought from Lowes.

Software used is Ham Radio Deluxe http://hrdsoftwarellc.com/ for logging and DX spotting, JT65-HF with JT-Alert, WSJTX

Digital modes : PSK-31 (20-60 watts) 80M-10M, JT65 (10-40 watts) 80M-10M, SignaLink USB interface

JT9 (15 watts) 20M just started using this mode 4/28/2013, use WSJTX for this mode along side (JT-Alert for WSJT-X)
