I go by the name Jay. I've been a ham since 1971, and have been involved in VHF/UHF-FM since the mid-70s. Since moving to Fairmont, Minnesota at the beginning of 2002, I've begun to explore other facets of ham radio I haven't done in years.

I operate a D-Star repeater system under the callsign K6ZC. When I'm in my office, I'm listening. More information is at http://www.k6zc.org .

I was elected chairman of the Minnesota Repeater Council in October, 2005, and to the board of directors of the National Frequency Coordination Council in November, 2005. I've served in a number of positions with the Texas VHF-FM Society in the past. I'm also a life member of the ARRL.

My other interests include the Warner Bros. TV series Animaniacs, competitive shooting, flying, and, of course, computing. I'm also a Professional Registered Parliamentarian. My home page at http://www.conmicro.com has more information.

I've also become moderately (in)famous for the costumes I've created, two from the movie TRON and one from the web comic Schlock Mercenary. Full details are on my page at http://www.tronguy.net .
