May, 2014: Retired in 2013 from The Boeing Company where I was an Electrical Engineer and Manager. Originally licensed in 1993 and operated as General Class KD6SUU until 2012 when I upgraded to EXTRA Class and was lucky enough to capture the vanity callsign I use today. I'm still trying to live up to the expectations of the callsign ( I operate some CW but mostly sideband and digital modes). Working conditions are modest... ICOM 736, still my favorite, running 100 watts into a vertical antenna. I've learned to be patient and humble with this set up, but have a great time all the while... 73 Don
