Penny Cron is a Registered Nurse working at Memorial Hospital in Modesto, CA. She is the XYL of W6SBE, who is a retired Deputy Sheriff. Penny and her husband Dan met indirectly via ham radio. Dan was on 40m cw in the early sixties and had a QSO with Pennys' dad who was a ham.(now SK) He invited Dan over to see his station and the rest is history.
