I was first licensed in 1956 as KN6QXY at the age of sixteen. My interests include 6M DX-ing, EME and Weak Signal work on 50 MHz through 10 GHz. My Six Meter DXing accomplishments include:

WAS in 1979

AJD ( all Japanese districts ) in 1980

WAD ( all ZL districts ) in 1989

WAC in 1990

DXCC in 1992

I was awarded certificate number one in 1993 for Worked All Canada. That year I also received an achievement award from the Wireless Institute of Australia for a new 50 MHz EME distance record.

In August of 2000 the WA-VK-CA award for working all VK call areas and states including VK0 Macquarie Island.

In 2009 WAZ at 31 zones.

Finally, I have placed first three times in the ARRL EME contest.


The EME array shown here consists of eight, 5 element Yagi antennas on a modified polar mount.


This Six meter array consists of four, 10 element Yagi antennas on a 130' rotating tower.



Show here are two, 8 element Yagi antennas on a 100' rotating tower
