I am currently employed as a Systems Technologist (aka an FTR) for one of the big names in the two way radio industry. Before that I was a communications field engineer for the US Army Electronics Proving Grounds at Ft. Huachuca, AZ for about 13 years. I also have worked in the broadcast industry and was chief engineer/operator for 2 AM/FM pairs and done some consulting engineering work. My professional radio career began in the USAF as a Ground Radio Repair Specialist with a secondary in Crypto. Strangely I attended Basic Electronics and ETA school with the Navy at Great Lakes Naval Training Center... I own and operate IRLP node 3319 and Echolink node 6778 located in Henderson, NV. The node repeaters are on 145.420 and 447.675 with a tone of 100hz and are available for any licensed ham to use if your in the area. The repeaters are always linked for cross band operation and also has a NOAA WX receiver that will relay any severe weather alerts. You can see the information about the node and the real time connection status and stats at: http://www.technerd.net/irlp/ Last modified: Thu Nov 27 17:38:52 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content?
