The call started with a common insult at our local repeater

group's Saturday luncheons. After an outrageous load of

well, stuff, from one of the members.someone would exclaim,

"Yer Mama."

That finally led to a discussion of a club name and of course,

a club call. I have since designated myself Supreme Universal Leader of the

CF Contest Group (betcha can't guess what CF stands for)

and assumed the role of Trustee of Amateur Radio Station

Keee-low-watt Eight Yer Mama.

You'll probably hear us on in Sweepstakes.and now and then

in a DX pile-up as K8YM strives for DXCC Honor Roll.

But don't hold your breath.

And everybody hears "Yer Mama." B'lee dat !!!
