NEWEST INTEREST IN HAM RADIO, SINCE OCTOBER, 2012 --- Digital modes, Now operate nearly 100% on BPSK-31 on 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 30, & 40 meters!! Digital modes are my newest challenges --- and we all need a new challenge, right? Also renewed my RTTY interests after 15 years and I can be found on digital RTTY these days as well -- all digital operations are using my IC-7000 with tuner at 45 watts to wire antennas or yagi! Amazing what you can work with 45 watts, a GOOD automatic tuner, and most any length of wire antenna!!
(SteppIR DB18E waiting to be assembled and installed come the warm weather in the spring of 2013! -- I fear, at 68 years old with a bad lower back and legs, that I may have 'bitten off more than I will be able to chew' after reading the assembly manual!!! Is it needed or worth it??)
THAT'S WHAT 51 YEARS AS A "HAM" WILL ACCUMULATE!!!
