Retired from Lucent Technologies formerly AT&T & Western Electric, as an Engineering Director after 37 Years of service. Enjoy cooking, golf, fishing, ATV(share the 70cm overland ATV DX record with W9ZIH at 643 miles), DX'ing, RTTY/digital modes, amateur radio satellite AO-40 (1.2 ghz uplink/2.4ghz downlink), and rag chewing on 160 Meters. 5BDXCC, ARRL #1 honor Roll, with an all time worked of 347. Son James is licensed as N5TKS.  DXing now with a 3EL SteppIR that tunes 7 thru 50 MHZ. Triple Play Award #171.  Also enjoy participating in the FMTs (Frequency Measuring Tests)  measuring to 0.001 Hertz. Latest project is renovating a Heathkit DX-60B.  Hope to work you with it on AM and talk about the Heath DX-35 I used in the late 50s.
