I was first licensed in 1978 as KA2DFO. I am an active DXer, DXCC CW, RTTY and SSB, 5BDXCC with 30, 17 and 12 meter endorsements and DXCC Challenge. I am an Island Chaser and Contester.
I operate all modes/bands. My favorite modes are RTTY and CW. I am now active on Digital modes.
QSL - direct, W2 BURO, eQSL [AG] and LoTW. I prefer LoTW.
I have helped coordinate and participated in various Special Event Stations from the Long Island area such as Montauk Point and Fire Island Lighthouses, The Long Island Air Show, National Weather Service/ARRL SKYWARN Recognition Day and ARRL Field Day. Field Day and Lighthouse weekend are my favorites.
