Hi and welcome to my bio....

I have been in Ham Radio since 1980. The "3" Call" comes from Erie, Pennsylvania. I got my start in radio back in the 60's & 70's on the 11 meter band. It was fun but I wanted more. Eventually I found more in Ham Radio.

I spent the majority of my adult life in the Law Enforcement finally leaving the field in 2007 when my wife, Lori and I moved to the Panhandle area of Florida.

I am the A.E.C. for Jefferson County here in Florida. Jefferson County is known as the Keystone County of Florida. It is the only county that reaches from a state border (Georgia) to the Gulf of Mexico. Ironically I come from the Keystone State of Pennsylvania.

My station consists of a Yaesu FT-920, and FT-900.

I also run an Ameritron AL-80b for that added boost.

I also have an SB-200 that was converted to 6 meters with 600 - 800 watts output into a Cush Craft 3 element beam on 6 meters at 50'.

Antenna wise I have a Cush Craft XM-240 for 40 meters. This beam works great on 30 and 60 also.

I have a Mosley TA-33jr which works great on 10, 12, 15, 17 & 20 meters.

I also have a home made Loop at 40 - 50', a DXLB by Alpha Delta, for 40, 80 & 160 meters at 60' favoring North  & South. This antenna works exceptionally well on 60 meters also.

In addition I have a G5RV covering 10 - 160 meters also at 60' favoring East & West. I have various other wire antennas throughout our 5 acres for experimental purposes.

I am currently working on a bi directional set of Beverage's. Once I heard the receive one of these had I was amazed and sold.

Thanks for the contact and we QSL 100%, usually through the "Bureau".

If you wish to QSL direct, we will do the same .

Best of 73's

Gary
