Homebrew Rotator and Control via Lan...

Rotator: 24v wheelchair motor/gearbox 23:1 coupled to 60:1 worm drive gearbox via

double chain sprockets. Mast coupled to gear box with double chain sprockets.

Control: The black device directly above the battery is a 100amp full wave bridge

rectifier for battery/charger isolation. Above the terminal block is a 25w switching voltage regulator.

To the right of the terminal block in an Arduino Mega 2560 with internet shield and right of that is a 50

amp regenerative dc motor driver. The rotor is silent and fast at speeds from 1 deg/sec to 8 deg/s.

What my current rotator interface looks like in Chrome Browser (battery voltage not yet implemented)...
