I am a retired dog trainer. One of the original fourteen GI's that started U.S. Army K-9 Corps in Front Royal, Virginia, August 3, 1942. After getting discharged in November 1945, I began Simpson's School For Dogs in the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Area in February 1946. I have professionally trained and shown in obedience, retriever, and sheep dog trials.

The lab by my knee is field champion V-J's Black Paddle. The Border Collie is V-J's Terry International Sheep Dog Champion in 1961 & 1962. I love to talk about dogs.
