I am KA8HQL, Jeff VanMeter, M.D.

I am interested in everything form VLHF to mocriwaves. I have been in ham radio since the late 70's. My first transmitter was a Heathkit DX-100. Now I am operating with an IC-756proII and IC-910h. I am still waiting to get on 10GHz WBFM (I need to add more hours to my day).

In my profession, I am interested in treating the sickest of the sick. I have special interest in DM and CHF. I am the first "Family Practice" MD in the country to be on CareLink, a cardiac pacer managmant program.
