Been a ham since I was a teenager, born and raised in Ohio, and like most everyone else have moved alot since I enlisted in the Air Force. Finally settled in the Denver area. Now living in Ft. Lupton, Colorado, 35 miles north east of Denver. Married to KB0IBR, Rita and all 6 boys are now married off and have 16 wonderful grandkids. One of my sons is a Ham also. Ken, KB0IBQ who lives in Arvada, Colorado. My Dad, Ralph, KB0JPL passed away in 2006. The wife and I have a full blown wood shop, doing scroll saw fret work. (see photos above) Station consist of: Icom 756 Pro 2, Icom 746 Pro, and Icom 7000, Ameritron, AL-811, 40 foot tower with a Mosley TA53-M & Inverted Vee for 40 & 80 meters along with a 3 Element yagi for 6 meters . 11 Element Crushcraft for 2 meters. Station is CAT Controlled.You can catch me on the air every day in the morning from 4 am til 5 am on 7.168 on SSB. I hang out mostly on 10 meter band if open, normally above 28.500 mhz. I also work alot on 17 meters. I operate alot of digital modes now as well, and love FELD HELL on 20 mts, 14.063 - FH #2548 As of 10/20/08 I have added a Hazer 2 to the tower. so no more climbing the tower for this old goat. Retired from the Regional Transportation District, Bus Operator and the Burlington Northern Railroad, Assist Division Special Agent (Gum Shoe) Hope to catch you on the air waves one of these days.
