Hello, Thanks for looking me up!
For radios, I have a Kenwood TS-2000 and also the Kenwood TS-520 that I bought used when I was a kid and now have on the air again. My HF antenna is an OCF dipole. I really enjoy working the HF bands on SSB and especially CW.
This is my vintage [about the same age as me :) ] Kenwood setup. To me, these radios are very cool.
Another ham interest is the amateur satellites---Wow what an awesome way to make a qso! Been able to work SO50, AO27, HO68, AO51 and FO29. For FM sats I use a Yaesu and a Baofeng HT's and Arrow 2m/70cm handheld antenna. I've also started playing with the linear transponder birds, using my TS-2000 and a couple ground planes. I'm always happy to set up a sked with anyone that needs EN33 on sat.
I am a fan of LOTW, although I still enjoysending and receiving qsl cards, so if you have sent me one, I will be returning one to you. I'm usually pretty quick on returning cards, so if you have been waiting for one from me, please drop me an email. Am also on eQSL.
Occasionally use APRS as KB0VXN-9 with iPhone and OpenAPRS app, and KB0VXN-7 with Yaesu VX-8GR HT.
Originally licensed as KA0ZJW. Got my novice and general when I was 14. I am married with three kids- a girl and two boys. My other interests are mostly whatever my kids are involved in and fishing, camping and hunting.
Aboveis a pic of me on a trip to the Boundary Waters Wilderness Canoe Area, one of my favorite places to be.

Maidenhead grids confirmed via satellite as of 2013. Still lots of empty spaces.
Working a zero degree SO-50 satellite pass. That's zero degrees Fahrenheit, not elevation. I really need to think about an indoor sat. station. :)
