First Photo is main station view facing out the windows. Rigs Kenwood TS-440s & Yaesu FT-897-D. HF Dipoles. On 6 Meters 100 Watts 5 element. CushCraft Beam about 35 feet of the Ground. On 2 Meters 50 Watts 10 element Yagi beam. Echolink. And PSK 31. and a Hustler Vertical ground plane antenna. Chasing Beacons . Most all Beacons are using vertical antennas. If you have an old CB ground plane you will hear more beacons.

The Second Photo is Old School Station setup behind the main station setup in the same room used by my Twin sons Bryce KB1LQC & Brent KB1LQD Equipment HeathKit HW-101, Heathkit HW-7, HeathKit HM-102, HeathKit HP Hewlett Packard 8654A Signal Generator 10-520 MHZ HP Hewlett Packard 3200B VHF Oscillator HW Hewlett Packard HA-10 Warrior Kilowatt Linear Amplifier not shown being rebuilt by Bryce. And a CW Keyer used by Brent & Bryce

 

Earned my General License in April 2008 Amd My Amateur Extra June 2014 I have twin sons that are Amateurs Bryce KB1LQC Extra & Brent General KB1LQD Both attended R.I.T Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. They both were members of Club station K2GXT at R.I.T. I also assist student members at the Chelmsford High School Amateur Radio Club N1CHS. And a son Craig KC1BZL still at Chelmsford High School.

Brent KB1LQD and Bryce KB1LQC now working at SpaceX in Hawthrone Ca as Electrical Engineers
