9/16/2014: Updated Call Sign. Wanted my Initials. Catch Ya on the Bands!
Updated to General 5/8/2014. Looking forward to enjoying the HF Bands! Enjoyed 11-meters (CB) for years and now I am enjoying 10-meters. "10-10 Number 76716" Also enjoying local repeaters on 2-meters. I have been collecting some old equipment for a few years. My collection ranges from Kenwood TS-520SE,Yaesu FT-101EE Series, Kenwood TS-440 and TS-140 etc upto a Yaesu FT-450 and FT-950 with the DMU-2000.Using a Astatic 811 Desk Mic on the FT-950 and or a Heil PR-781 Mic on a Boom. Also have a Yaesu Ft-990 with a Astatic 10DA Desk Mic Head on TUG9 Stand. Two meter rigs are a Yaesu FT-7900 Dual Bander mobile used with a Power Supply as a Base and a Kenwood TM-621A. Also have a few HT's. My favorites are the FT-60R and Baofeng UV-5R both Dual Banders. Both HT's are great to use with my Arrow II Dual Band Beam Antenna for Satellite Contacts. Antennas at this time are a Maple-Leaf End Fed Horizontal Wire 10-80 meters along with a Imax-2000 used for 10-meters and a Comet Dual Band Vertical for 2m/440 Bands.
Purchased a Yaesu FT-817 for QRP operations both on HF and 2-Meters/440mhz Bands, when the weather works with me for use on Field Days or in the Back Yard.
Update: I now have a 220mhz Base Station setup using a TYT-9000 Single Band Mobile on a 20amp Power Supply attached to a Comet Mod #333 Tri-band Vertical Fiberglass Antenna. The setup is working great for getting into local Repeaters within my area.
