There are about 35,000 registered Hams in the P.I.mostly on 2M Fewer then 1000 Hams active on HF Bands mostly on 7.045 MHz. Fewer then 200 Hams active in contests, DX, IOTA chasers ETC. When 10 Meters is open, the band is cluttered with QRM coming from thousands of Indonesian pirate stations.(CB,Asian style) making DX difficult to copy on 10 M.
