I got my license in July of 1998 and have enjoyed the hobby ever since. I also make my own beer so I have 2 very fun hobbies. My wife and I also enjoy photography.

This is one of the 13 covered bridges in the county we live in.

I collect QSL cards and am very happy to send direct. I also use LOTW and the FISTS Buro. I work a lot of QRP CW and can be found on 40 meters at various times of the day. I also enjoy chasing special event stations.

I have an Elecraft K1 and a Yaesu FT450 and use both. My main antenna is an Alpha Delta DXLB Plus. I also have a homebrew J-Pole for 6 meters.
