I operate on HF on the 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, and 10 meter bands and on VHF on the 2 meter band. The antennas for the HF bands are all single band horzontal dipoles installed between 25 and 30 feet above ground.

I primarily operate CW with some operation on PSK31. I operate SSB during contests, to work DX, or an occasional ragchew.

Sometimes I operate an MFJ-9020 QRP rig for CW on 20 meters either from home or portable. Look for me calling CQ on 14.060 MHz.

Exchanging QSL cards after a QSO is a great part of the hobby. My current QSL card is the image you see in the upper right corner of this page. It shows outdoor scenes from Wisconsin for all four seasons of the year.

100% QSL return if you send me your card. No SASE required from you.  100% via bureau.

My wife, Wendy, is W9WJM. She obtained her license in August 2013.

The only Waunakee in the world is in Wisconsin.
