*NOTICE* March 2014
Due to the ARRL's continuing policy of not giving any credit for eqsl cards, and the fact that it is taking away valuable time confirming qso's for no apparent end result where awards are concerned, I am terminating eqsl as a qsl path after several years. I suggest every person get on board with LOTW- it costs nothing and does count towards awards from the ARRL.

Jan15, 2014 Finally earned DXCC on 160M for a total confirmed 104 enities. I credit the 18 new enities this winter to my 530 ft beverage antenna and getting up before sunrise to harvest the dx in Asia and South Pacific. Been working on 10 band DXCC since 2006. I need 40 more on Six meters and 10 more on 80 meters to acomplish 10 band DXCC. For A country total of 313.
50 MHZ MONSTER OPENING TO JAPAN, JUNE 27, 2012 worked dozens of Ja's, here is a Ustream link of my signal as heard by JL8GFB- http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/23613690
May 2013 a new amp added THP 1.5 KFX .
All antennas are now fed with LMR 800.
160 meter RX antenna is a 535 ft Beverage antenna pointed NE at 40 deg. Using DX Engineering DXE-BFS-1.
160 meter TX is bent marconi using 8 guage copper with 24 - 65 ft radials. I made a square alluminumin radial plate to accomidate the radials. Using my 85 ft tower for the vertical radiator part then using 2x2 's - 36 inches long as tower standoffs then a glass insulator screwed in the end, the rest of the horzintal part of 40 ft or so takes off to the NE towards my 110 ft tower that hosts my tribander.
My two favorite bands are SIx and 160 if there are conditions, you will hear me looking for DX. I am 99% CW but will plug in mic if there is a good reason.
