TOP Band -
160 meter RX antenna is a 535 ft Beverage antenna pointed NE at 40 deg. Using DX Engineering DXE-BFS-1.
160 meter TX is bent marconi using 8 guage copper with 24 - 65 ft radials. I made a square aluminum radial plate to accomidate the radials. Using my 85 ft tower for the vertical radiator support using 2x2 's - 36 inches long as tower standoffs then a glass insulator screwed in the end, the rest of the horzintal part of 40 ft or so takes off to the NE towards my 100 ft tower that hosts my tribander.
My two favorite bands are SIX and 160 if there are conditions, you will hear me looking for DX. I am 99% CW but will plug in mic if there is a good reason.
Low Band DX - TX
HY-Gain Hy-tower Vertical for 80 and 40 - Using a DX Engineering Radial plate with 48 - 65 ft radials-
2 - 1/2 wave inverted Vee's one on 80m another one for 30m both at 100 ft.
A Hy-gain Explorer 14- 4 element yagi with 40m add on at 100 ft-
A3WS at 50 ft for 12 and 17m.
6M A single 6M9KHW @90 ft.
6M Hy-Gain VB66DX @ 35 ft.
6M Stacked Par Omni's @ 50ft and 38ft.
a single M2-2M18XX @ 60ft.
a single Cushcraft 10 element yagi at @ 100 ft.
2M SAT M2 Eggbeater Omni @ 70 ft.
432 SAT M2 eggbeater omni @ 60 ft.
432 SSB- a Single K1FO 25 element @ 55 ft.
