My husband and I are currently serving as missionaries for the Seventh Day Adventist Church in the Amazon Basin of Peru. My Peruvian callsign is: AO8AEF. This is the sign that I usually use when calling Stateside. My husband, Alberto Marin, is a pilot/mechanic/inspector for our two aircraft: a 1964 Cessna 182G and a Lake Amphibian Renegade 250. We provide air transport for the East Peru Mission of SDA, their workers and volunteers. The Mission also operates a medical missionary launch on the Ucayali River and its tributaries. The Ucayali River is the primary river in the Peruvian Amazon Basin and is the main tributary to the mighty Amazon River, whose headwaters are found in Nauta, just south of Iquitos, in the northern jungle of Peru.
