Click for more detail... NJDSTAR was formed by several Sussex County Hams to promote DSTAR Repeaters in Northern New Jersey and Sussex County. At present we have no ICOM DSTAR Repeaters running for lack of funding. The NJDSTAR group wishes to support a network of repeaters covering Northern New Jersey in the event of any Emergency. Our interim solution has been to deploy DV Nodes, (Hot Spots) in the county. There is a DV Node Repeater, 146.635 -600kh, in Sparta. Wantage area is covered with KC2SCY, simplex DV Node, 145.670. Shortly another Simplex DV Node will be online, N2EPA, in Lafayette. All DV Nodes are connected to Ref020A. To use the Hot Spot set "Your Call" to CQCQCQ. Rpt1 and Rpt2 are not needed. If you live in Sussex County, NJ and are interested in hosting a "Hot Spot", please contact N2KTO at n2kto@njdstar.com Please reference the word DSTAR in the Subject line. Please visit http://www.njdstar.com for further information. Last modified: Thu Sep 24 07:01:12 2009 Does this page contain inappropriate content? If so, Report this page... |
