Click for more detail... Howdy! I've been a ham for a little over a decade now. In the past, I was active with http://w5ac.tamu.edu, The Texas A&M University Amateur Radio Club. I'm now currently employed by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi as a computer programmer and am working on a Masters in Computer Science. Hopefully we'll be starting an Amateur Radio Club on this campus one of these days. My current interests are in Voice Over IP, cryptography, open source software & open source software philosophy, and most geeky stuff on slashdot. Current Rigs: Icom 706MKIIG, HTX 252 2M (solar powered), Regency RE-CAP II (xtal, FM-only) and a Yaesu VX-1R HT. I've also got a couple 24 GHZ modules I'm going to turn into a wide-band FM audio tranceiver. Antennas: Hamsticks for 80, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, 6 & a Dualbander for 2M/70cm. 73 de Michael Last modified: Wed Dec 10 03:44:18 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content?
