I've been a ham for nearly 15 years, but, not overly active until recently.  I've been studying up on CW (yes, even though I don't need to).

I just recently passed my General exam, and am having fun on 20M.

I have just upgraded my equipment.  I can now return the IC-735 that I borrowed from a very generous ham since I have purchased a Yaesu FT-450, and I am running that in front of a MFJ-948 tuner.

I have just strung an 80M loop skywire at about 40-50ft high in the highest spot, and 30-35ft in the lowest spot.  So far, I've been having very good luck with this antenna on all the bands from 80M and up.  I still have one of my first antennas I've built; it's a homebrew vertical 1/2 cut for 20M.  I have found that very few times will the vertical out talk/hear the loop, but, there are a few times it will.  I guess I'll keep it around a bit longer.

I apologize to all, but, no QSO cards yet.  As soon as winter rolls around, and the end of the motorcycle riding season ends, I will get to work on designing a nice QSO card to send out to contacts.  Until then, my son, my YL, and my Triumph get priority, specificly in that order...

73's, and happy DX'ing!
